To call a NuPhone user, your computer must be running NuPhone and be connected to the Internet and logged in.
- Find the user you wish to call using the method described in Find Another User By Searching For Their Name and add that user to the Contacts List displayed within the Client by using the method described in Add Users to Your Contact List.
- To call the desired user either:
- Click on the appropriate user name displayed within the Contacts List of the Client and then click the Call button, or
- Double click on the appropriate User Name.
- If the user is logged into NuPhone and their Status set to accept calls, they will be informed by NuPhone that you are calling. They can choose to accept or reject your call, or they may send you a text message explaining why they rejected the call.
If a user has sent a Text Message or a call has been missed and a Text Message has been entered into the Received Messages log, the user may be called by selecting the message and clicking Messages from the menu, then click Call User. Alternately, right click the text message and select Call User from the pop-up menu.
