To find another NuPhone user your computer must be running NuPhone, be connected to the Internet and logged in.
1. Click the "Find" button on the NuPhone Client Interface (Client
).
2. A dialog box similar to that depicted below will appear.
3. Enter the "Display Name," "First Name" and "Last Name" of the user you wish to find into the appropriate fields and click the Search button. Up to 100 users with matching names will be displayed in the List Box. We suggest you enter a minimum of both the first and last name in order to limit the number of matches. For example, simply entering Smith
or Chen
into the Last Name could result in thousands of matches being listed.
4. Where more than 100 results match the search criteria, the Next button will become active and can be used to scroll to the next 100 results by clicking the Next button. The Previous button may be used to scroll back to the previously displayed list of results in the current search.
To call a listed user simply:
Select the desired User Name by clicking on it once, then click the Call button;or
Double click on the desired name. To add a listed user to your Contact List read the paragraph named "Add Contact to Your Contact List".
