NuPhone provides functionality which enables you to attend a voice and video conference and send text messages to others in the conference or room. This "text whispering" is useful where you wish to convey a message to another without all in the in the room hearing that which you wish to express. NuPhone also provides Instant Text Messaging where you wish to convey a comment to another user of NuPhone without necessarily speaking with and seeing them.
When NuPhone receives a text message it notifies the user by issuing a sound. The text message is displayed in the Received Messages area located in the lower area of the NuPhone Client. Messages are automatically saved to disk.
