The following assumes you have completed the Getting Started section.
To make a spontaneous conference call, all intended participants must be users of NuPhone Client software, currently at their computer, running NuPhone, and logged in.
- Start NuPhone and ensure you are logged in.
- Click the "Find User" button.
- Enter the Display Name of the user you wish to call. Also enter their First and Last Names into the appropriate fields. The more information you enter the easier it is to find the appropriate NuPhone user.
- Click "Search."
- Once NuPhone has located the user or a number of users with similar names, click on the desired contact's name and click "Call."
- Once the user has answered your call, repeat steps two to five to include as many participants as desired.
OR
- Start NuPhone
- Click the "Locate" button.
- Type the Conference/Room ID into the "Search for" field and click "Search." This number was either:
- Provided by NuPhone when you created the conference/room, or
- Should have been provided to you by the individual who provided your invitation.
- Once NuPhone has indicated it has located the room, click "Enter."
- If the room is locked you will be prompted to type the password that you either created when creating the room or that should have been provided to you by the individual who provided your invitation.
- Please note: the conference room may be configured so that you may not be able to enter before the Moderator has entered. If this is the case and the moderator appears not to have entered, simply repeat the procedure a little later.
