How to Use

Panel Member, Attendee & Moderator Abilities

Each NuPhone user in a room is automatically allocated a status of being either a "Panel" member or an "Attendee."

Panel members may talk--all at once if they wish--and be heard by everyone else in the room.

Attendees may listen to those on the Panel, but not talk. Everyone in a room can send text messages to other individuals in the same room. Attendees can send text messages to the Moderator requesting to be appointed to the Panel.
Each panel has one "Moderator" (identified by a small red "M" to the left of their name) who is provided with functions enabling them to manage all users within the room. This structured approach allows meetings to be conducted in an orderly manner, similar to the established system used in Board of Directors meetings.

Moderators can: Read text messages from any Attendee in the room, and appoint attendees to the Panel if they wish to talk; remove the ability of a Panel member to talk by removing the user from the Panel and assigning them Attendee status; eject any user from the room; and lock the door to the room so that any user wishing to enter must click on the locked door and await the Moderator to let them in.

To become a Moderator your must either be:
The first user to enter the room; or be appointed as Moderator by the present Moderator.
